The e commerce boom is still afoot in Africa! Since 2020, African markets have embraced the e commerce revolution. The number of digital shoppers in Africa has more than doubled between 2014 & 2022.
Statista predicts that between 2020 and 2025, African e-commerce will increase at a compound annual growth rate of 15.5%. If growth was to continue at the same rate through 2030, the total market size in Africa will reach $84 billion (Statista 2020)
